Press Release Summary: In a controversial move made by one of the world's casino
giants, Harrah's Entertainment pushed back the 2008 World Series of Poker Main Event
final table. The move has resulted in praise and outrage. This week, the
PocketFives.com Podcast welcomes one of the men behind the decision, Harrah's
Communications Director Seth Palansky.

Press Release Body: San Jose, Costa Rica - May 12, 2008 - In one of the biggest
changes in the history of the World Series of Poker, Harrah's Entertainment
announced that the final table of the 2008 Main Event will be filmed on November 9th
in order to coincide with its television airing. In essence, the world will wonder
for over 100 days who will win poker's most prestigious crown. Harrah's
Communications Director, Seth Palansky, breaks down the decision this week on the
PocketFives.com Podcast.

Palansky reassures players that much deliberation went into the decision to push
filming back 100 days: "We had over a year of research and analysis. We didn't come
to the decision lightly. It affects less than one-tenth of 1% of Main Event
participants. The discussion it has generated so far proves that it's a worthy shot
in the arm for poker." The move has gotten the entire online poker forum at
PocketFives.com talking.

One of the biggest benefits of the change is that months of build-up can now occur:
"To have a promotional platform to push towards makes a big difference in any
marketing game plan. This will allow 117 days to allow the public to get to know
these nine finalists."

In the world of online poker rankings, Costa Rica's "lucky seven" took home nearly
$48,000 upon winning the PokerStars $200k Guaranteed Sunday Second Chance
tournament. "Lucky seven" has been a force at high-stakes online tables for four
years and could be on his way to a worldwide ranking soon. "JohnnyCashout" won the
Ultimate Bet $200k Guaranteed for $45k recently, and long-time tournament player
Eric "basebaldy" Baldwin added $23,600 to his online poker bankroll after taking
down the Bodog $100k Guaranteed.

This week's worldwide rankings update features Daniel "djk123" Kelly moving up two
spots to #5 following his second place finish in the UB $200k Guaranteed for $27k.
His recent final table in the PokerStars $1k Super Tuesday tournament was good for
another $28,500. Former #1 ranked player Cliff "JohnnyBax" Josephy has moved up
five spots to #14 in this week's rankings, following yet another impressive week at
the virtual tables. Cliff finished 3rd in the PokerStars $200 Sunday rebuy for
$22,700, and also has a recent final table in the $100 rebuy for nearly $20k.
PocketFiver "CrazyZachary" is closing in on a Top 50 ranking thanks in large part to
his recent final table appearances in the Full Tilt Poker $65k Guaranteed and the
PokerStars $1k Super Tuesday.
